Discover Quito’s culture and spectacular landscape!

Quito, the capital of Ecuador, sits about 9,350 feet above sea level in a beautiful valley surrounded by snow-capped peaks of the Andes. About 1,500,000 people inhabit Quito, which is roughly the same size as Philadelphia. With its many parks, museums, neighborhoods, cathedrals and historic monuments, Quito is one of the most visited tourist centers of Ecuador. Nowhere else in Latin America can you find such a diversity of landscapes, playscapes, climates and cultures in such a compact and easily accessible area. Between the Andes Mountains, the Amazon rainforest, the Galapagos Islands, coastal beaches, and mangrove forests, Ecuador is the country that has it all!
